Bernhardinkoira ei ole ollut lapsuuden haave.Koirakirjoista on ohitettu rotua käsittelevät sivut kääntämällä ”yök, kuolaa”.
Kuitenkin tänä päivänä Bernhardinkoira On se minun rotuni, hyväksi havaittu juuri sopiva. 
Ensimmäinen bernhardinkoirani oli pitkäkarvainen narttu Netta , koira joka sai rakkauden syttymään. Netta ei valitettavasti ollut terve, eläinlääkäri tuli hyvinkin tutuksi L. Luonne oli kultaa, ja aika kultaa loput. Rakas iso tyttöni josta jouduin luopumaan reilun yhdeksän vuoden jälkeen.
Toinen tyttöni Lyyli lyllerö , keltasilmäinen kaunottareni. Pentuna syödyt Netan vahvat särkylääkkeet pitivät Lyylin ”ikuisella matkalla”. Taivaan lintujen ja kukkasten tuoksuttelu oli rauhalliselle luonteelle sopivaa. Valitettavasti luusyöpä pakoitti minut tekemään viimeisen ratkaisun Lyylin ollessa 6,5 vuoden iässä.
Elämääni on mahtunut myös saksanpaimenkoirat Nata  ja Hulda  sekä dobermanni uros Rommel Rakkaudella ja kaipauksella muistellen. Myy kissa muutti äitini luokse viisi vuotta sitten (11 vuotiaana)  paikkaamaan Elli kissan jättämään aukkoa (lopetettiin 19-vuotiaana munuaisten pettäessä). Myy nautti olostaan ainoana ”silmäteränä”.
Hiirenloukun virkaa meillä hoitaa punainen Ansa poika. Ansa on hyvin seurallinen kissa ja todennäköisesti luulee olevansa koira.Vartioi pihaa tehokkaasti muunrotuisilta koirilta J. 
 Meillä koirat elävät perheenjäseninä, mukana arjen ja juhlan askareissa.Harrastelen koirieni kanssa tottelevaisuus koulutusta, jäljestystä  ja hakua. Pyrimme olemaan mukana ”haliberni” toiminnassa sekä lasten veto porukassa.  Satunnaisesti osallistumme myöskin muunlaisiin harrastuksiin. Pääkaupunkiseudun sveitsinpaimenkoirien toiminta kuuluu osana elämäämme.Nautimme pitkistä metsälenkeistä.
Avopuolisoni Petteri on tätä nykyä aktiivinen bernhardinkoiraharrastaja minun myötäni. 
Olen myöskin intohimoinen bernhardinkoira tavaroiden keräilijä ; postikortit, postimerkit, lehtileikkeet, patsaat, taulut, kipot ja kulhot kuuluvat Mahtavaan kokoelmaamme. Äitini mielestä voisin perustaa pienimuotoisen museon J.
Päivät vietämme Klaukkalan Musti ja Mirri liikkeessä.Koiramme ovat tottuneita työssä kävijöitä.Liikkeen valikoimassa yritän huomioida erityisesti isot koirat – myös erikoistuottein.

Our family

St Bernards were not my childhood dream dog. When reading dog books I used to skip all St Bernard pages with a shudder: ”Eww, drool!”
Yet today St Bernard is the perfect, most suitable breed for me. 
My first St Bern was Netta, a long haired bitch who lit the fire. Unfortunately Netta was not a healthy dog and we had to visit the vet all too often. But she had a nature of gold – and time puts a silver lining to all the rest. She was my beloved big girl whom I had to give up after a good 9 years.
My second girl was Lyyli, my yellow-eyed beauty. As a puppy Lyyli ate some of Netta’s strong pain killers which sent her on a constant “trip”. Sniffing the birds in the sky and the flowers on the ground suited her calm character. Unfortunately bone cancer forced me to make the final decision when Lyyli was 6,5 years old.
I have also had German Shepherds Nata and Hulda as well as Rommel, a Dobermann male. I miss them still and remember them with love. Myy the cat moved to my mother five years ago(when she was 11) to fill in the void left behind by her cat Elli, who had to be put down at the age of 19 due to a kidney failure. Myy enjoyed all the attention she got being the only pet. The job of a mouse trap at our house is now taken care of by Ansa, our red boy, as well as Maire and Oili, our baby girls. Ansa is very sociable and most probably thinks he is a dog. He effectively guards the garden from dogs of any other breed. 
Our dogs are family members who participate in both everyday life as well as special occasions. I do obedience training as well as tracking, search and rescue with my dogs. We also try to participate in therapy dog activities as well as in offering sledge rides for children.  Occasionally we take part in other activities, too. The greater Helsinki area Swiss Mountain and Cattle Dog Club activities are also a part of our life. We enjoy long walks in the woods.
Nowadays, thanks to my influence, my partner Petteri is also a St Bernard enthusiast. 
I am also a passionate collector or all St Bernard-related items: our magnificent collection includes post cards, stamps, newspaper cutouts, statues, paintings and bowls. My mother thinks I could open a small museum. 
We spend our days in the Musti ja Mirri pet store in Klaukkala. Our dogs are used to going to work with me. As for the product selection in my shop, I pay special attention to offering products for large dogs.
